MAGIC-CLEAN is a specially-treated synthetic fiber that is used to increase the carrying capacity of fluids without significantly altering any other physical or chemical properties of drilling or milling fluids. MAGIC-CLEAN fiber is non-corrosive, non-magnetic, chemically inert, and temperature stable in the designed application.

Method of Use
MAGIC-CLEAN can be easily mixed with the hopper. The concentration of the sweep ranges from 0.2 to 0.5 llb (lb per barrel) depending on the amount and type of the cutting/debris present in the wellbore. In water, a minimum dosage of one box (15 lb) of MAGIC-CLEAN fiber per 30 barrel sweep has shown to be effective to remove cuttings and solids. In the drilling mud, a minimum dosage of one box (15 lb) of MAGIC-CLEAN per 60 barrel sweep has proven effective. The fluid with MAGIC-CLEAN is then introduced by pump suction to the drilling fluids system and circulated through the drilling system. MAGIC-CLEAN and the transported cuttings are removed by the shaker or discharged to the reserve pit. For milling operations, higher doses up to 2 llb (lb per barrel) may be needed to lift heavy metal debris generated during the milling of metal parts.
