Product Description
EP SLIDE is SFK’s proprietary specially synthesized lubricant suitable for use in most water based drilling fluid systems, including systems having high pH and hardness. It is the lubricant of choice in difficult mud systems especially in lime based and silicate based mud systems allowing their extended use in deeper and more deviated wells traditionally drilled with oil based mud systems. EP SLIDE effectively reduces metal-to-wellbore & metal-to-metal friction and works well in the presence of multi-valent ions like Ca2+, Mg2+ and Al3+. EP SLIDE is highly effective, biodegradable and environmentally friendly. EP SLIDE lubricant is stable to 425°F (218°C).

Recommended Treatment and Method of use
Optimum concentration is 2.5 – 4% V/V.
Systems should be treated with minimum 2.5% initially, and the concentrations should be maintained through the interval where torque is expected.
Packaging
EP SLIDE is packaged in 25ltr cans or 208ltr (55 gal) drums. Custom packaging is available on request.
