Product Description
CORE STOP A01 is an effective oil soluble, water dispersible specially designed amine based organic corrosion inhibitor that physically and chemically absorbs on the metal surface protecting it from hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon dioxide (CO2), organic acids and inorganic salts like Sodium chloride, Calcium chloride, Calcium bromide and Zinc bromide. CORE STOP A01 can either be spread directly on the metal surface or mixed with drilling fluids, completion fluids or packer fluids. CORE STOP A01 is a temperature stable product and can be used up to 424 ˚F (200 ˚C).
Application/Function
Inhibits corrosion of metal surfaces from acid gases like hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and carbon dioxide (CO2), or oxygen catalyzed corrosion
Protects the metal surfaces of drill pipes, casing and down hole equipment by creating a protective film
Helps inhibit the formation of corrosion cells
Helps prevent corrosion caused by microorganisms

Recommended Treatment and Method of use
Normal treatments range from 0.1–0.15 lb/bbl depending on the fluid system used, severity of corrosion, type of metal, amount of dissolved oxygen, salinity, pH and temperature of the system. Higher concentrations may be required depending on conditions.
Packaging
Packaged in 25 liter cans and 200 liter drums. Custom packaging is available on request.
